Hello! I’m a junior at the College of William & Mary, majoring in Cultural Studies and English. I’m a pretty chillobear person so please feel free to ask me questions in the Ask box. I like a lot of different types of music, which is reflected on this blog and on the show. It’s primarily indie rock/electronic, but don’t be surprised if you see something else.

The name of the show comes from a particularly memorable summer (‘09, if you were wondering) and the music which ended up defining it, namely, Phoenix’s Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix and Animal Collective’s “Fireworks.” It is very meaningful. -sniff-
